Zoetis joins Pharma.Aero as shipper member

Animal health company Zoetis has joined Pharma.Aero as a strategic pharma shipper member, joining fellow pharma shippers Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and MSD.

The addition of another pharma shipper strengthens Pharma.Aero as a cross-industry collaboration and reinforces its role in the pharmaceuticals air supply chain.

Rita O’Sullivan, head of global transportation at Zoetis says the supply chain plays an important role in transporting products.

She says: “Of specific interest to Zoetis is how we can partner with airlines, GSA’s and freight forwarders to continually enhance and improve the cold chain service offerings, which are critical to the animal health sector.”

Nathan De Valck, chairman of Pharma.Aero says shippers are at the core of the association’s cross-industry collaboration initiative.

He says: “We are very happy to welcome Zoetis into Pharma.Aero and look forward to their active participation in our project groups. We will continue to listen to the expectations of our four pharmaceutical shipper members.”
