Priority Freight invests £2 million in Coventry hub

Priority Freight has invested £2 million ($3 million) to open a new hub in Coventry (UK), starting operations in January 2016.

The Coventry hub will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing 25,000 square feet of warehouse space. Priority Freight says the Coventry hub provides a larger control centre and space for contingency warehousing, forward stock location and replenishment, fulfilment, storage and archiving.

Priority Freight group managing director, Neal Williams says: “Priority Freight’s mission is to supply the fastest, most reliable, secure and cost effective contingency logistics solutions for our customers, something we’ve been doing successfully from our Midlands office for the last 10 years.”

He continues: “This new UK facility further adds to this service offering by providing a facility to store goods in a highly secure environment, managed 24 hours a day with the opportunity to inject those goods into customer supply chains any time of day or night.”
