Year-to-date, the airport has achieved fourteen point four percent growth, driven primarily by robust e-commerce imports and strong European export performance, which rose by twenty-six percent year-on-year.

After just nine months, Liège Airport has become Europe’s leading full-freighter airport, handling 961,640 tonnes of air cargo. Over the longer term, France Aviation Civile Services’ latest global air traffic survey ranked Liège among the top five fastest-growing cargo airports worldwide, with freight volumes up twenty-nine percent between 2019 and 2024.
