CEVA Logistics creates ground transportation division

CEVA Logistics has added a ground transportation division, headed up by Jerome Lorrain, to operate alongside the existing air, ocean and contract logistics businesses.

Lorrain, a French national, is the ground transportation division chief operating officer, and has been appointed to the executive board, reporting to CEVA chief executive officer, Xavier Urbain. Before starting the new role, Lorrain was based in Dubai as CEVA’s executive vice president Balkans, Africa, Middle East and Central Asia (BAMECA). Fuat Adoran will take over from Lorrain as executive vice president BAMECA.

Lorrain says: “By adding this fourth business line we have an opportunity to even better leverage the existing network we have in some parts of the world and reinforce our air, ocean and contract logistics global product offering.”
