Astral Aviation launches B767-300F service from Hong Kong to Brisbane

Astral Aviation has commenced a new scheduled Boeing 767-300 Freighter service between Hong Kong and Brisbane, operated on behalf of Aus Air Cargo. The route is designed to meet rising demand for capacity on the Asia–Australia trade lane, driven by cross-border e-commerce, perishables, and general freight.

The Nairobi-based carrier, traditionally focused on Africa–Asia routes, is now expanding its reach into the Australian market. The B767-300F offers a versatile payload profile suited to time-sensitive cargo, including fresh produce and online retail shipments.

“We are excited to expand our operations with this new route, offering enhanced cargo capacity and flexibility for our partners,” said Sanjeev Gadhia, CEO of Astral Aviation. “This service underscores our commitment to supporting Aus Air Cargo network and delivering seamless logistics solutions.”

The new flights add to Aus Air Cargo’s regional uplift, reinforcing Brisbane’s position as a strategic freight hub for eastbound and westbound flows. Ground handling is supported by dnata, while M&C Aviation Group acts as GSA in Australia.
