Astral Aviation has expanded the role of Charles Ngwalla, appointing him as Head of Interline, Partnerships & Product Development—a move aimed at deepening the airline’s commercial agility and global reach.

In this new capacity, Ngwalla will take charge of building and strengthening interline and airline partnerships, while leading product development across Astral’s cargo portfolio. His focus will be on supporting network expansion, yield optimisation, and the airline’s long-term product strategy.

The appointment comes as Astral sharpens its commercial focus heading into 2026, with a push for greater collaboration and differentiation in competitive markets.

Ngwalla’s expanded mandate is seen as key to delivering value through tailored cargo products and stronger partner engagement, aligning with Astral’s broader goals for innovation and sustainable growth.
