Ascent Air appointed GSA for Air Asia Cargo India

Ascent Air has been appointed as the general sales agent (GSA) for Air Asia Cargo India and the contract started on 10 August.

The GSA will cover the carrier’s pan India domestic network, which it is looking to expand in the future.

Air Asia Cargo India currently serves the likes of Delhi, Jaipur, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Goa, Pune, and others, but is targeting more stations.

India’s air cargo market continues to grow strongly as the government’s ‘Make in India’ campaign boosted investment. Pharmaceuticals and e-commerce are the among the thriving sectors.
