American Airlines Cargo promotes Andy Cornwell

American Airlines Cargo has promoted long-serving Cargo leader Andy Cornwell to the role of Head of Cargo Sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Recognized throughout the air-cargo industry, he is widely respected for his passionate advocacy of the merits of freight-side aviation.

Throughout Cornwell’s 35-year career with American Airlines, he has held various positions within the carrier, notably in sales and business development.

“I am delighted to be taking on this new role which is a natural extension of my previous post covering northern Europe. I believe the Cargo products and customer service at this airline are second to none and to be able to drive forward our full range of products to an even wider group of customers is a challenge I am happy take on,” says Cornwell.

He holds an MBA from the University of Buckingham and will continue to be based at London Heathrow (LHR) from where he will report to Global Head of Sales, Indy Bolina.
