American Airlines Cargo has flown 10 brown bears from Argentina to the USA, on their way to their new home in Colorado.

The bears travelled from Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.

They originated from the Mendoza Zoological Park, about 1,200 kilometres from Buenos Aires, and will end their journey in Colorado at a wild animal sanctuary.

David Vance, vice president operations for American Airlines Cargo says: “All team members involved worked together to ensure a successful, safe, and seamless experience for the bears and our customers. It’s always an honour to play such an important role in animal transport, and we are thankful to have been selected for this incredible opportunity.”
