Kintetsu World Express named to CDP 2025 climate change A List

  • Kintetsu World Express (KWE) has been named to the CDP 2025 Climate Change A List, recognising its environmental transparency and progress in tackling climate change.
  • Since 2020, KWE has enhanced sustainability governance across its global operations—including air cargo and logistics—aiming to further decarbonise its business.
  • The recognition reflects growing momentum in the freight forwarding sector to align with international climate goals.

Kintetsu World Express, Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo) has been named to CDP’s Climate Change A List for the first time. CDP is a UK-based international non-profit organisation that evaluates environmental initiatives and the transparency of disclosed information.

CDP is a leading global disclosure platform, requesting environmental information disclosures from companies and municipalities worldwide, scoring their responses, and publishing the results. Its data is also utilised in investment, financing, and transactional decision-making.

Since starting to provide CDP with information in 2020, we have strengthened our sustainability governance and driven concrete, effective measures to address climate change. We believe that this recognition reflects the progress and impacts these initiatives.

Building on this achievement, we will further accelerate our efforts to decarbonise our business activities across the Group and continue to work proactively to combat climate change.
