Logwin has opened its nineteenth Air + Ocean office in Germany in Mannheim, following the opening of Erfurt and Leipzig facilities in 2015.

It already had a contract logistics office in Mannheim, and the Air + Ocean expansion will serve consumer and chemical industry customers through a 20,000 square metre multi-user warehouse and high rack system for about 16,000 pallets. The existing IT systems will connect staff to the global Logwin network. Logwin says shipments and other transport services can be reliably processed and the latest status can be accessed at any time.

Logwin Air + Ocean Deutschland head, Stefan Schwind says: “The main reason for opening the new office was to be close to our air and ocean customers.”
