Sri Lankan Airlines appoints NAS as GSA in the UK

Sri Lankan Airlines has appointed Network Airline Services as their cargo GSSA in the United Kingdom. Sri Lankan operates daily wide-body flights from London Heathrow to Colombo, connecting into a network covering the Middle East, Indian Sub-continent, Asia and Australia.

John Gilfeather Sales Director Network Airline Services said, “the NAS team feel very honored and privileged to be appointed as the Cargo GSA for Sri Lankan Airlines in the UK. NAS will dedicate a team of experienced and customer focused staff to retain existing customer business and identify potential new customers and cargo for the Sri Lankan Airlines network.”

Established in 1979, Sri Lankan Cargo has continuously provided connectivity across the world through its ever-evolving fleet of modern aircraft and global network. Operating 22 aircraft to 37 global destinations, Sri Lankan Cargo is one of the major air cargo operators in the region. The new fully equipped cargo terminal located at Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake, is the sole handling agent for all airlines operating in Sri Lanka and moves nearly 200,000 metric tonnes of cargo annually.

Network Airline Services (NAS) is the General Sales and Services division of the Network Aviation Group, established in 1985, with 43 offices and 200 staff around the globe to provide airlines cargo GSSA services.
