Nielen takes over as VP of sales at Cargolux

Cargolux Airlines International has appointed Chris Nielen has joined the company as its new vice president for sales and took over on 3 October.

Nielen joins from IAG cargo where he held the position of regional commercial manager Europe and has 16 years of experience in the airfreight business, which have enabled him to build a solid knowledge base about the airfreight market especially in sales and marketing.

Cargolux executive vice president for sales and marketing, Niek van der Weide says: “We are very pleased to welcome Chris in our Sales team. He is a young dynamic, and extremely sales-focused person with excellent contact with the major customers and industry players.

“His outgoing personality and vast knowledge of the industry will undoubtedly help Cargolux to further expand and strengthen the relationships with our worldwide clients.”
