Emirates adds second daily flight to Geneva

Emirates SkyCargo has doubled capacity to Geneva with a second daily Boeing 777-300ER flight to the Swiss city, which started on 1 June.

The additional flight will increase cargo capacity by 140 tonnes a week to 280 tonnes, and increases space to and from Switzerland by 26 per cent. Exports from Geneva include pharmaceuticals, automobile spare parts, chemicals, electronics, luxury watches and humanitarian aid. Imports include food and garments.

Emirates flight EK083 leaves Dubai at 1455h and arrives in Geneva at 1950h. The return flight, number EK084, departs Geneva at 21.45h and arrives back in Dubai at 06.10h.

In addition to flights to Geneva, Emirates has bellyhold services to Zurich and a freighter flight to Basel.

Emirates SkyCargo will be exhibiting at the Air Cargo China tradeshow in Shanghai from 14 to 16 June. It will be at booth 101/102.
